Metro Port Team Wins 1st Place In STC Par 3 Tournament

Thirty-four teams hit the Par 3'd sy 4 p.m. on October 11, 2012 at the Crosswinds Golf Course.  After all completed the 9-hole competition, Joey Newsome and Maurice Arnold of Metro Ports came out on top with a score of 23.

Closest to pin for the men was won by Robert Pettigrew of D.J. Powers  and Chris Goodman of Ardry Trading won for the woman closest to the pin.

After a fabulous dinner of pulled pork, barbecue chicken, baked beans, cole slaw, potato salad, tea and cookies, some played an additional nine holes under the lights at Crosswinds.

Savannah Traffic Club signed up six new members.  Welcome aboard to Ashley Greene of TitleMax, Seth Whitman of Extes Express, Michael Wynne and Brian Hanlon  of the Judge Organization, Rob Stephenson of Tennessee Commercial Warehouse and Danny Roberts of B-P Express.

All proceeds from this event will go to the STC Education Fund.
